Why Hvar is the perfect destination in your 40s (and beyond) ✨

Luxury. Refined. Classic. Yet still exciting and full of discovery.

From gorgeous waterfront restaurants and chic beach clubs to incredible cocktails and endless sunshine, Hvar delivers the perfect balance of relaxation and glamour.

We stayed at Hotel Amfora, which exceeded all expectations. The location was fantastic, the service exceptional, the breakfast buffet was outstanding, and the Whispering Angel Bar quickly became a favourite spot for sunset drinks.

One of the highlights of the trip was a private boat tour with Tours Hvar. A seamless 4-hour experience, collected directly from our hotel jetty and dropped off at our dinner restaurant afterwards. Effortless, luxurious, and the perfect way to explore the stunning coastline and islands.

Overall, Hvar offered everything we wanted for an elevated girls’ getaway. We were celebrating a 50th birthdays, and what a memorable place to mark such a special occasion.

Beautiful memories, wonderful friendships, and a destination we’ll definitely return to. 💙

24 hours to go until 4 fabulous days in Hvar, Croatia with my girls, celebrating a very special 50th birthday!

We’ve got boat trips, beach clubs, sunset cocktails, amazing food, and plenty of laughs on the agenda. Our home for the next few days will be the Amfora Hvar Grand Beach Resort, set in a beautiful bay just a short walk from Hvar Town. With its stunning cascading pool, private beach area, sea views, and Adriatic island vibes, it looks like the perfect base for our Croatian adventure.
