Hey Team -we have been running for 10 years now (I know right?!) it was just us for a long time but every so often new tour companies join the party. That’s all good and there is plenty of room for everyone - after all the indie hospitality business needs people to get out there and support them. It gets a bit tricky though when customers are confused about who they are booking with and confuse us with other businesses - particularly those who choose to set up tours starting at the same times and at the same locations as our longstanding events.
Sooooooo just to make sure people know who we are and we aren’t!!!
- We only work with local indie businesses - no franchises and no chains. - You can only book us via our website, .brighton or Viator (online travel agents punk businesses like ours for up 25% of our ticket prices 😱) - You’ll see us in our distinctive and rather natty purple and orange uniforms - We don’t demand huge discounts off our vendors and we only take you places we eat and shop ourselves. -We don’t ask for or take financial kick backs from vendors - We are the original and only award winning food tour biz in town
Hope that clarifies it a bit - we really feel for customers who think they have booked with us and are then disappointed or confused 😕 Anywhooooo - happy May one and all! Get out there and enjoy Brighton!

Hot bubbling cheese is the best! Fondue is on the menu right now and paired with some of their lovely natural wine and a night out with one of your favourite people, it’s a winner 🥇 We have been eating at this lovely local restaurant for over 15 years now and it’s a wonderful stalwart of the Brighton food scene. Staff and service are charming, the menu is classic and delicious and the vibes are cosy & stylish. There are some great local restaurant awards you can vote for places like Mangetout but the best vote of support is to visit & eat!

The five star reviews keep coming for our signature VIB (Very Independent Brighton) food tour. We love hosting visitors to our city and showing them what’s here, but we absolutely adore it when we have locals who book on and rediscover their city and all of the amazing independent places we have to eat and shop here. It is an honour and a privilege to support these local food heroes. Our guide Gill obviously did a great job too! 😘
