Meet Amy Harrington.

She has spent the last fifteen years treating the world as her classroom, and she is considerably better at it than she ever was at teaching. She knows a city by its backstreets rather than its main square, she will eat almost anything at least once, and she has a talent for finding the one cafe in any town where the locals actually go.

She travels the way most of us mean to but never quite manage. No itinerary tighter than it needs to be. No ticking boxes. Just a hire car, an open road and the genuine belief that the best thing about arriving somewhere new is having absolutely no idea what is about to happen next.
