One thing I’ve noticed recently is that people are planning much further ahead than they used to.

A few years ago, many travellers would book a few months before departure. Now I’m regularly seeing enquiries for 2027 holidays, especially for school holiday dates and popular destinations.

The reason is simple – people want the best choice of flights, hotels and room types before availability starts to disappear.

That doesn’t mean everyone needs to book years in advance, but if you’re tied to school holidays or have a specific hotel in mind, it can definitely pay to plan ahead.
