Rich has been out recently picking up some hounds on our Hand Tied ultimate dongle rigs 🙌🏻
With the fishing being a little slower in his local area he has been fishing hard to achieve his targets 🎯 collecting his own crab 🦀 on a long stretch always makes finding a few fish more rewarding!
Rich fishes the Akios airpowers, paired with Daiwa shorecast reels to get his baits sent out into the drink 🤙🏻

Managed a few hours as the sun dropped away finding a couple of the target species 🎯 Big or small.... Love em all 🤟🏻

Neglect is the most common type of abuse in the UK. Around 1 in 10 children aged 11–17 report being neglected .
Police‑recorded child cruelty & neglect offences in England have risen 106% since 2017—nearly 30,000 last year .
Approximately 50,000 children are currently on protection plans—equivalent to 1 in every 240 children as of 31 March 2024.

📢 How you can help:

1. Know the signs: changes in behaviour, unexplained injuries, withdrawal.
2. Speak up: contact NSPCC or Childline if you suspect abuse.
3. Support survivors: amplify their voices, push for stronger support services and funding.

Together, let’s raise awareness, challenge stigma, and create safe spaces where children are believed and protected. 💛

First trip out for myself in weeks!
Went on a crab grab with the kids and misses finding plenty of fresh peeling spider crabs, grabbed the crab and dropped down to a local mark - on the first cast within minutes a good run produced a lovely conditioned double figure hound 🎣
Great start with plenty of smaller pups in the mixer and the usual dogs too 🤟🏻

Dan Owens has been chasing the hounds up near Anglesey for the last month and getting pupped out with loads of small ones. Recently he got the target tipping it into double figures. The following night Dan hit the mark again and beat his PB with another decent double! 🎣

Half-Term Fun: It's More Than Just Catching! 🎣

As they say it's not just about catching — it’s about learning the arts of fishing and also making memories! Ben has been spending quality time with his kids, and between family moments, he’s been out on the field with Tyler (age9), passing down the art of ground casting. From perfecting posture, stance and swing technique. They have also been going through tides, conditions, making rigs, learning knots and perfecting the perfection loop, Tyler has been soaking it all up!

They even managed a few hours at a local mark fishing for dabs, enjoying the outdoors together with his boys and partner. Because at the end of the day, it’s not just about what you catch—it’s about the time spent together. ❤️
