Two weeks to go. 📚🌊

On Wednesday September 23rd, we'll be opening the doors to our venues across Budleigh Salterton and welcoming you to five extraordinary days of books, conversation and creativity by the sea.

This year's festival brings together an incredible lineup - Bryony Gordon, Caroline Quentin, Patrick Gale, Dawn O'Porter, Rachael Stirling, John Crace, Liz Earle, Jonathan Freedland and many more - alongside a brilliant family weekend with Children's Champion Maz Evans, Rob Biddulph, Louie Stowell, Ramzee, Karl Nova and more.

There's the Writer's Hub for aspiring and established writers, brand new Marquee Nights with free music and a w**e tasting with Helen McGinn, and free bear-themed activities all weekend in the Mini Marquee to celebrate 100 years of Winnie-the-Pooh. 🐻

Tickets, priced from just £5, are still available for most events - but several have already sold out, so if there's something you have your eye on, now is the time.

The Budleigh Salterton Carnival is back on Saturday 3rd October with an evening of colour, music and brilliant community spirit 🎉✨

The procession sets off from Seachange at 7.30pm, winding through town with floats, dancers, bands and walking entries bringing the streets to life.
