The Festival Marquee is the heart of Budleigh Salterton Literary Festival - and this year it's better than ever. 🎪

A warm welcome awaits, with good food, a well-stocked bar, the fabulous Waterstones pop-up bookshop and our friendly information and ticket desk. Come and browse, pick up signed copies of books by our festival authors and soak up the atmosphere.

And most evenings, the marquee comes alive with brilliant live music - most of it completely free. From festival favourites The Wildstrings and sea shanties from the Woodbury Whalers, to classical guitar from Noah Layzell and the Clarion Quartet - there's something to enjoy every day of the festival.

On Saturday evening, don't miss The Take 4 Band - a wonderful mix of swing, jazz and blues, with all profits going to the Exmouth Foodbank to buy books for local families at Christmas. Tickets just £10. 🎄

The information desk is open Wed–Sat 10am–5.30pm and Sun 10am–1pm.

A quick note for anyone visiting Rockfish Budleigh this weekend.

We've lost internet at the restaurant and it looks like it'll be down for the weekend, which means card machines are out of action for now. We will be cash only until it's fixed.
