✏️June is National Employee Wellbeing Month❗
We thought we'd share with our followers a colouring sheet and game we have been playing instore. Can you spot our managers Rhea and Louise hidden amongst the holiday destinations.
Colouring :
🧠 1. Reduces stress and anxiety
Colouring helps your brain slow down and focus on a single, gentle task. This can quiet racing thoughts—similar to meditation—and help you feel calmer.
🎯 2. Improves focus and mindfulness
When you concentrate on choosing colours and staying within shapes, you stay in the present moment. This “mindfulness” can reduce worry about the past or future.
😊 3. Boosts mood
Using colours and being creative can release feel-good chemicals like dopamine. Completing a picture also gives a sense of achievement, which lifts your mood.
🎨 4. Encourages self-expression
Colouring allows you to express emotions without needing words. The colours you choose and how you use them can reflect how you feel.
💤 5. Promotes relaxation
The repetitive motion of colouring can be soothing, helping your body relax and even improve sleep if done before bed.
🧩 6. Helps with mental resilience
Taking time to colour regularly can build a healthy coping habit—giving your mind a break and helping you bounce back from stress more easily.
