"To celebrate our 90th birthdays, we took our family on the Opatija Northern Gems cruise. The superb captain and crew of the MS Equator, together with Anna, the excellent tour manager, were exceptional in all respects.

The planned visits were quiet and picturesque, with plenty of interesting sights, and the many swim stops in beautiful locations became a refreshing daily highlight. This was our family's third motoryacht cruise and was unanimously voted the best.

"The Thomas Hardy was up to the same high standards as the other three ships we've sailed on. The Scylla crew were so well organised and friendly, while our tour guide Leonard and his assistant Peer were excellent.

The onboard entertainment, including a quiz night and dancing, was great fun, and we were kept well informed about each day's itinerary. Pont du Gard and the Ardèche Gorge were spectacular, and the guided walking tours of Avignon, Arles and Lyon were fascinating.

Our extension into Switzerland was amazing. Visiting Chillon Castle on Lake Geneva and experiencing the scenic rail journey through the Alps was a marvellous end to our holiday.
