A few reasons why your fundraising matters from those who have been affected by cancer 💙

Fundraising events like ColourFest, can help fund a variety of things to support people living with and beyond cancer. Here are a few examples of how your fundraising can help:

☀£5 buys a thermometer for a chemotherapy patient - it is crucial for patients to monitor their temperature between treatments to make sure they aren’t displaying signs of Sepsis.
☀£10 funds an Open Water Swimming session for a breast cancer patient - a support group to help mental and physical wellbeing to those who have undergone treatment for breast cancer.
☀£20 funds a Horticultural Therapy Session for a cancer patient - living well with and beyond cancer is extremely important. Horticultural therapy is proven to have a positive impact on physical and mental wellbeing.
☀£75 funds Yoga/Tai Chi Class for 13 people - helping to get patients back into exercise after treatment through gentle movement.

🐣Backbeat's gig at Arthur's Restaurant & Bar is part of a busy Easter weekend at Meadow Springs.

👟We're staging a fun run on 19th April, and the watersports lake is open from 12.00 pm - 4.00 pm on 17th, 18th and 20th.

🍕The Pizza Parlour will also be open on 18th, 19th and 20th. Busy, busy!

🎤We'll be welcoming Backbeat to Meadow Springs Country & Leisure Park on Sunday, 20th April.

🎤They are a Beatles cover band playing Fab Four classics from throughout their career.

⭐️Winning a prestigious Wales Tourism Award has left us feeling truly humbled.

⭐️When we set out on this journey, our primary aim was to create a place where family and friends could make lifelong memories.

⭐️Since then, the park has progressed from an ambitious vision into a multi-award-winning site. That is mind-blowing for us.

⭐️None of this could have happened without our staff. Everyone has bought into what we are trying to achieve – you’re all stars.

⭐️We also need to mention another important group of people – everyone who has ever visited the park and Arthur's Restaurant & Bar.

⭐️Regardless of how you have engaged with Meadow Springs – you are all equally important.

⭐️We have said this before, and it’s worth repeating – without you, there is no us.

⭐️If any of this sounds like the worst type of awards acceptance speech – we’re sorry (not sorry).

🍽More opening times at Arthur's Restaurant & Bar next month? Sounds good to us!

🍽We’ll be extending our opening times in April. We are closed next Monday and Tuesday before reopening on Wednesday.

🍽On Monday and Tuesday, 7/8th and 28th/29th, the restaurant will be open during the day for coffee and cakes.

🍽For Monday and Tuesday, 14/15th and 21st/22nd, we’ll be serving coffee and cakes during the day and our light snacks menu at lunchtime.

🍽The restaurant will also be open on each of the above dates for our evening menu.

🍽Opening times on all other days are as per usual.
