Let's talk numbers and how limited your options are becoming 😄

The Woods has 9 spaces left across all the durations

The Lighthouse Ultra has only 24 places left. This event is kept to 70 runners by us, to limit our impact on the coast path
The Lighthouse Marathon has plennntyyyy of spaces.
One of Cornwalls toughest marathons and that comes from those that have run it 😆
Just don't leave it too late or you will have to join the waitlist 😬

The Woods is on Saturday 12th September and the Lighthouse Marathon and Ultra on Saturday 7th November

There are 11 places left on the Woods and this year is going to be a cracker 👌

We have some returning 100k runners looking to bag their second year
And I reckon 2026 will see our first Female 100k, but who will it be?

The Woods look a little different after the big storm. All the trees in the left picture are gone and there is a trunk in the gully in the right picture.
But we trail runners are made of sterner stuff and we will forge new trails 😀

Entries close at the end of August but I wouldn't leave it that late

A nice write up in the Trailblazing magazine by The South West Coast Path

We are donating £1 per runner for all our coastal races this year.
Cousin Jack - 211 runners and Run Like Hell - 87 runners
Next up for coast path donations is The Lighthouse followed by FSM
Both events usually have over 200 runners 🏃‍♂️

But this isn't all we donate towards.
We also help the NCI St Ives and Outsider Cornwall
We are also co sponsors to the Cornwall Running Show
Plus we have helped a local youth football team ⚽️

We feel strongly that we are part of the community and that we should help where we can.
Whether it's through donations, race places or working with Cornish businesses

I am currently stuck with pictures I've taken over the last day or two
My Instagram page seems to have developed a fault and I can't access my photo galleries 🤷🏼‍♂️
So these woods aren't The Woods 😆
But they are just as pretty and peaceful

The Lighthouse Marathon and Ultra includes a coach transfer to the start 👌
A free can of beer and your finishers medal
This year, thanks to VÅGA , the female and male winners of both events get free hat. Plus 1 other random runner from both distances 🧢
Trophies this year are stunning and I will save that little surprise for later 😊
And if you are planning a Arc of Attrition by UTMB Runners run next year, then the Lighthouse is perfect. Consider it a 34 or 26 mile recce 👍🏻
