Looking for something to do this weekend in South Cambridgeshire? From knights and fairy tales to dragon boats and soap box racing, South Cambridgeshire is packed with fantastic events this weekend.

🪵The Ancient Oak Fayre returns to Quy Estate this weekend. Visitors can experience a mix of history and fantasy with jousting, jesters, mermaids and a Fairy Glade. There are workshops, craft stalls, face painting, fancy dress competitions and refreshments including a mead tent.

🎵 Bring your own vinyl to the Boars Head pop-up pub in Eversden Village Hall tonight

🎤Enjoy live jazz from Empirical at Stapleford Granary Arts Centre - Cambridgeshire tomorrow

🚣 Take to the water on Saturday with dragon boats in Fen Ditton or a canoe safari in Fen Drayton

🎪Laugh and gasp in equal measure at the acts performing at John Lawson's Circus in Cambourne

🛍️Plus there are a number of markets including the Farmers Fayres Market at Linton and Orwell Pannier Market on Saturday, and the Mum2mum market East of England Nearly New Market in Cambourne and a Craft & Car Boot at Cambridge City Football Club on Sunday.

Last month we welcomed two businesses to the VSC family. Join us in welcoming Eden Coffee in Comberton and Thorn House B&B in Fen Drayton.

We also saw three new events - Frank's Farm Cookery School, Barleyfest at The John Barleycorn in Duxford, and Bassingbourn Village Market.

👇 Whether you’re looking for family fun, live music, outdoor activities or something creative, there's plenty happening across our region over the next few days!

🍻 For a thrill-filed family day out, the Little Gransden Charity Air & Car Show ✈️takes place this Sunday with air displays, classic cars, fairground rides, fish and chips and more'

🌾There are more family-friendly activities at The John Barleycorn in Duxford on Sunday. Barley Fest is raising money for the Soapbox Derby and Cancer UK with face paint, live music, entertainment and activities.

🏖️ Annual arts festival Summer At The Beach returns to Waterbeach Barracks on Saturday, kicking off two weeks of exhibitions and installations, music and workshops.

🍏Also back for another year is the C***r Festival at The Black Horse Rampton, including an open mic on Sunday.

🎤 There are plenty of other opportunities to belt out a tune tonight at the karaoke at the Hat and Rabbit Fulbourn or the open mic at Wylde Sky Brewing, or at the Black Horse in Rampton on Sunday.

🎶 Grab your parka and a pint at The Chequers Cottenham Cambs where Who's Better celebrate the sounds of the 60s and 70s on Sunday.
