There’s another Bank Holiday weekend ahead and guess what? It's going to be sunny! If you want to get outside and enjoy the sun, here are some things happening in South Cambs 😎
🐄Wild about wildlife and the environment? Come and meet the cows at Wandlebury on Saturday morning, the Cambridge Nature Festival starts and the shiny new Conservation Hub at Shepreth Wildlife Park has its Grand Opening on Monday.
🎭 Corkscrew Theatre deliver double the drama tonight with two one-act plays at Ickleton Village Hall. Why not grab something to eat at The Lion at Ickleton before the show?
🍻Starting today and running all weekend, the beer festivals at The Tickell Arms in Whittlesford and Harlton Hare and Hounds offer a mix of real ales, food trucks and live entertainment.
🎤There’s more live music on Sunday when The Mighty Macca play at The Chequers Cottenham Cambs, and The Cover Up cover rock, blues and soul classics at Fulbourn Institute Sports & Social Club. Then on Monday, Cambourne Town Council and Cambourne Foodies host Music on the Mound with a live DJ, food trucks, bar and fun in the sun.
🕰️Take a step into the past as Denny Abbey and The Farmland Museum goes back to the 1940s with a range of displays, demonstrations and activities exploring what life was like during World War II, or take in the Classic Land Rover Display while strolling through the grounds at Wimpole Estate NT on Sunday.
🌞Whatever you chose to do, remember to be safe in the sun – hat, sunscreen, stay hydrated🫗
