We are loving these beautiful autumnal evenings here at Blackbird. Lots of guests have commented they're enjoying evening strolls before settling into the hot tub to enjoy our dark skies and star gazing 🤩

We are so lucky to have so many activities on our doorstep here in Dumfries and Galloway. This weekend our guests can enjoy the Kirkcudbright Fringe. Thank you to everyone locally who organises all these brilliant things. Have a fab weekend folks 🤩

If you missed out market on Sunday, don’t worry! There’s still a chance to get yourself some lovely homemade produce this Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th as we have an extra two day market on in the soaperie gardens from 11am-3pm both days.

It’ll be a little smaller than our usual one but still just as great.

We are really looking forward to the Kirkcudbright Arts and Crafts Trail this weekend. There's so much to see, explore and do it's on the whole weekend 🤩 Tagged are just a few of the amazing people I personally can't wait to visit. Kirkcudbright is a little gem with wonderful places to eat and even more lovely people to meet.

Our little Blackbird at Kirkland has been super busy with 4 back to back booking these last 3 weeks and we are incredibly grateful 🫶
We've had people on walking holidays, cycling holidays and just popping your feet up and chilling holidays.
Yesterday we explored a little local gem we've walked past for years but never been to Dumfries Table Tennis Club. What a find!!! We loved it.

Who knew there was such a thing as mini pony horse racing?! I didn't but am now hooked 🤣 Brilliant fun at Kirkcudbright Country Fair today. Book your stay at Blackbird at Blackbird at Kirkland to enjoy everything D&G has to offer.
Also a shout out to all the amazing talented local people on the stalls including the wonderful Louisa Birdsall who designed our sweet Blackbird logo 😘
