💚We were joined by Jack in the Green at this year's May Day Parade!

Jack in the Green joined us for the ceremony after being awoken by dancers and sweeps on Blue Bell Hill at dawn on May Morning (approximately 5:32 am) at the Blue Bell Hill picnic area. With historic associations to May Day celebrations - Jack was accompanied by multiple Morris sides as they made their way from Almon Place to Rochester Castle Gardens🕺

It's the final day of Sweeps here in Rochester - but we've got a packed schedule full of festive fun!🕺🎉

We've got highlights such as:

👏Pretending People - Learn a brief history of Sweeps down by the Moat outside of the Castle🏰
🎉Parade - Join us at 2.45pm for a wonderful parade that runs from Almon Place to Castle Gardens😁
🎤The Singing Loins - Returning favourites that will close the festival in style!
