Friday was a fantastic day for Rework when our hard work securing these bookings paid off and the money landed in our client account.
The balance payment for the first month of a 4+ month booking arrived. Guys arrive today from Italy to work here. They are staying in some of our more “holiday let” type properties. They go home for 2 weeks at Easter meaning we can achieve the high demand rates for those 2 weeks. They are then back for a few weeks after Easter until their contact is completed. The summer will then be in full swing with high nightly rates in these properties.
The second payment is for an initial 5 month booking which will likely extend to 12 months. These guys from Greece arrive Wednesday are working on site and staying in some of our contractor houses. These large houses have been set up with double beds and TVs in each bedroom, plenty of bathrooms and unrestricted parking so suit the customer profile perfectly.
The majority of our smaller one bed and studio apartments are currently busy Sunday / Monday - Thursday / Friday with corporate clients we have relationships with and leisure guests at the weekends.
Filling the winter months is key to having a profitable year.
Having the right properties to house these kind of bookings, knowing how to and who to market them to and the correct calendar management strategy means our owners are set up for an exciting year.
