What's your favourite horror book? 🤔

I'm currently reading The Terror by Dan Simmons, a fictionalised retelling of the 1840s Franklin Polar Expedition, but with a spooky twist. So far so good! 👻

What is your favourite horror novel? Here at Chichester Horror Club, it's Dracula by Bram Stoker. The quintessential vampire novel, though not the first!

Published in 1897, it has stood the test of time and the Demeter chapter remains one of the most terrifying scenes ever written - in our humble opinion at least!

What's your favourite? It'll probably make our future reading list!

I rise from my social media blackout to share some good news from The Novium Museum in Chichester!

Followers may remember I shared a fundraiser to keep the Stopham Mount, an important Anglo-Saxon artefact, in Chichester District and allow it to be displayed locally.

Excitingly, it has been announced that it will go on display at the museum on Friday March 20th! I hope you have the chance to see it, and I cannot wait to see it myself.
