Thai cookery class at was just perfect
We picked what we wanted to cook, prepped and cooked it all and got to eat the finished meals at her restaurant
I highly recommend it! Fun way to spend few hours out of the sun (or rain) and feel good about new skills you’ve just learned.

What you need to know about going to Hong Island from Krabi.

➖Go early, it gets busy as many boats arrive around 9-10am
➖There is a 400 step climb to its highest peak, steep at times but worth it for the view. Worth noting it does not open before 8am and if you arrive before ( like we did) a quick swim is probably your best option
➖National park entry fee is payable on arrival (300thb per adult 150thb per child)
➖Small cafe selling drinks and snacks opens at 8-8:30am. Simple but clean toilets are in the same area
➖To get to the Emerald Lagoon you need to go back on your boat, it’s got an amazing entrance through the narrow cliffs
➖Whole of the island is non smoking and it’s strictly enforced
➖Allow 1-2 hrs minimum, but you can stay longer, there is no restriction other than your boat ride back schedule
