Summer vibes & friendly competition in the office today! ☀️🍉

We enjoyed a sunny summer picnic in the office, complete with tasty treats and drinks (A big thank you to Colin from MSC Cruises for the refreshments! 🥤).

Colin also popped in to share MSC’s amazing current offer: Flights from just £99pp ✈️ and their exciting Summer 2026 Mediterranean Flights!

To get into the spirit, he challenged the team to make their best paper airplane with a competition to see who's went the furthest.

We had the pleasure of welcoming Princess Cruises to our office yesterday for a fantastic supplier visit — complete with exciting updates on their 2027 sailings and an ice cream van packed with treats for the team! 🍦

A huge thank you to Jo and Charlotte from Princess for bringing the sunshine , sharing valuable insights, and making the day such a fun and informative one. 🚢✨

🎾 Wimbledon has officially begun & so have the treats! 🍓🍰

To celebrate the start of the Wimbledon Championships, we've dusted off the treat trolley and served up a classic selection: fresh strawberries & cream, and scones topped with jam & indulgent clotted cream. A delicious nod to tradition, enjoyed by all!

The fun didn’t stop there – we served up some Wimbledon trivia too, testing our team’s knowledge of iconic moments, record-breaking players, and a few quirky facts from Centre Court 💚💜

🩷 National Siblings Day 🩷

Today, we’re celebrating the special bond between siblings, and we're excited to highlight some of our amazing employee pairs who share that bond! Whether they’re working side by side or cheering each other on from different departments, their teamwork and support for one another make our business even stronger. Here’s to the siblings who lift each other up, both at work and in life! 👏 💼

⭐ Emily & Estelle ⭐

Customer Service Team Manager Estelle started working at WTH UK back in September 2016. She took sister Emily on her first cruise during the pandemic when cruising first returned, on a P&O sailing to nowhere! This grew Emily’s love for the industry, leading her to decide to join the business as Customer Service Concierge in November 2023, and she hasn’t looked back since! Emily says Estelle helped her to gain the confidence to join the team and expand her knowledge and skills within her role. 🚢

Outside of work the sisters are the best of friends and usually come as a pair. They bought their first home together at the end of 2024 which shows just how close they are as siblings! They did initially worry about working and living together, but it works well for them.

⭐ Amelia & Mollie ⭐

Sales Team Manager Amelia joined the business first back in September 2016, with her sister Mollie joining us in 2021 on a placement from college, where she was studying Travel and Tourism. In 2022, Mollie became a full-time member of the Customer Service team.

The siblings say the best part about working together is the opportunities to travel together. Last year they were lucky enough to go on a Virgin cruise around the Med, and earlier this year they went to New York followed by a cruise to the Bahamas. Working at World Travel Holdings has also allowed them to travel to other places such as Australia and Norway ✈️ 🚢 ☀️

Outside of work, they enjoy taking their family dog for long walks, going to gigs, and are always planning a holiday somewhere; their next trip is to Dublin in the summer!

⭐ Lindsay & Claire ⭐

Lindsay (Head of Product & Commercial Cruise118.com), and her sister Claire (Specialist Sales Concierge) have always worked together! The pair started out in travel together at a competitor before moving to Thomas Cook, then joined WTH UK in 2010 where they’ve been ever since. Lindsay joined first in September 2010, with Claire quickly following in the November.

They are close outside of work, as are their children. They enjoy family days out, holidays and the sisters enjoy child free nights out together 🥳

Meet Beth, our Supplier Relations Executive. Beth has been with us for 3 years and is a valued member of our Commercial Team.

"Hi, I’m Beth and I work in the Commercial team as a Supplier Relations Executive.

My day-to-day tasks are updating our internal trackers with override updates, communicating with our suppliers, helping to sort booking issues, the management and sending of marketing invoices, organising cruise line office visits, sorting and organising FAM trips and many other bits and bobs.

I have worked at WTH UK for 3 years now and I’ve been able to experience some amazing things in those that time thanks to working here. My first cruise was on MSC Virtuosa and since then I have fallen in love with cruising. A highlight for me whilst working at WTH was sailing on Cunard’s Queen Anne, I was able to do that due to one of our many amazing benefits of going on FAM trips. Along with FAM trips being one of the great benefits we get here at WTH, I also love the hybrid working, the passion that runs throughout the business and just how well everyone gets on no matter what department you’re from.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, renovating my house, going out for food and having a glass of prosecco or 2!" 🥂
