Travelling with us to the Philippinesβor flying with Singapore Airlines elsewhere? Please check your dive lights, camera batteries and power banks before packing.

Maximum of two power banks per passenger

Up to 100Wh: no advance approval required
β οΈ 100β160Wh: Singapore Airlinesβ approval required
β Over 160Wh: not permitted
β
Power banks and spare batteries must be in your cabin baggage
β Power banks must not be placed in checked baggage or overhead lockers
β Power banks cannot be used or charged during the flight
β
Protect exposed terminals and pack spare batteries separately
β Damaged, swollen or unlabelled batteries may be refused
Singapore Airlines also requires the batteries and bulbs to be removed from diving lights, packed separately and carried in your cabin baggage.
Please check that the Wh rating is clearly marked on every battery. If your battery only shows volts and amp-hours:
