Travel Counsellors explore Vancouver and the Canadian Rockies

Six days, three cities, one very special train journey, and a lot of incredible scenery in between. A group of Travel Counsellors recently travelled through Western Canada, starting in Vancouver before heading through the Rockies to Jasper, Banff, and finally Calgary. It was a busy few days, but that meant getting a real feel for just how much variety you can pack into a Canada holiday – from mountains and waterfalls to city neighbourhoods, food tours, iconic lakes, and a few unexpected moments along the way.

🇲🇾 A day discovering Malaysia! 🌴🐒

I've spent today in Manchester at a fantastic Malaysia training day, hosted by the Malaysian Tourist Board, and what an eye opener it's been!

From the incredible wildlife of Borneo and the beautiful beaches of Langkawi to vibrant cities, luxury resorts, fascinating culture and unforgettable experiences, I've learnt so much about this amazing destination.

It's been brilliant meeting the experts, discovering new places and picking up lots of ideas for future holidays.

We were also lucky enough to spend the day at the gorgeous Treehouse Hotel in Manchester. What a lovely venue! 🌿

I've got so much more to share, and I'll be putting together some more detailed posts about the different regions, experiences and holiday possibilities over the coming days.

Mauritius, just for the grown ups 🌴🇲🇺

A honeymoon, a special anniversary, a holiday with friends or simply some time to yourselves. You don’t need a big occasion to fancy a peaceful breakfast and a sunlounger with your name on it!

Following my recent Attitude Hotels training, these three adults only hotels caught my attention. Each offers something a little different…

🌿 Sunrise Attitude
For switching off, spa time and a swim up room.

On the east coast, just across the coastal road from Belle Mare beach, Sunrise has two pools, creative workshops and Spa POZ. You can choose a swim up room or treat yourselves to a villa with a private pool.

There are no TVs in the rooms as standard, so that book you’ve been meaning to read might finally get opened!

🐠 Lagoon Attitude
For those who like their pool days with a little exploring.

Set beside the lagoon at Anse la Raie in the north, this would be one I’d look at if you enjoy snorkelling, kayaking or paddleboarding alongside your downtime.

There are three pools and an on site Marine Discovery Centre, where you can learn about the marine life around you. Plenty to keep you interested when you fancy a break from your sunlounger.

🥥 Tropical Attitude
For a smaller hotel and a slower pace.

Near the fishing village of Trou d’Eau Douce on the east coast, Tropical has a more intimate feel, sea facing rooms and villas with private pools.

One lovely extra is the complimentary boat shuttle to Île aux Cerfs for beach time. Think leisurely breakfasts, a wander into the village and very little clock watching.
