We’ve teamed up with XL Escapes to auction off a 2-night stay at The Chase (27th–29th August) — normally worth over £700 — and every penny (after cleaning) goes towards keeping two beautiful dogs, Merlin & Rocco, safe from being seized.

These boys have been loved, exempted, and cared for since day one. But due to a sudden change in circumstances, they now urgently need funds to get court approval for their grandparents to become their keepers — or they risk losing their lives.

We’re so grateful for the support so far — thank you to everyone who’s bid, donated, or shared this cause 🐾

We’ve teamed up with XL Escapes to auction off a 2-night stay at The Chase (27th–29th August) — usually worth over £700 — to raise urgent funds for two beautiful dogs, Merlin & Rocco.

These boys have been loved, exempted, and cared for since day one. But after their owner had a sudden change in circumstances, he had no choice but to leave them temporarily with their grandparents.
Now, due to legal limits, they risk being seized — unless a court approves the grandparents as their new keepers.

Their grandparents are ready to become their official keepers, but the court process costs £1600. Their owner has already raised £500 but is running out of time. Without this, these dogs could be taken and put to sleep.

Every penny raised (after cleaning) goes directly towards the legal costs to keep them safe.

We’ve teamed up with XL Escapes to support this important cause, and offered 2 nights at The Chase (27th–29th August) to be auctioned off in a bid to raise urgent funds for two beautiful dogs — Merlin and Rocco.

These dates would normally cost over £700 on Airbnb — but your winning bid could help save their lives. Every penny raised (after cleaning) goes towards their court case.
Bidding starts at £100 – and it ends on Saturday 9th August at 9pm on the dot!

Their story matters.
Merlin and Rocco are the grandchildren of one of XL’s Ambassapaws. They’ve been responsibly exempted, neutered, and loved since day one.

But their owner was thrown into a life-changing situation.
He was contacted by Social Services and asked to take custody of a child he never knew existed. But because of the dogs, he wasn’t allowed to keep the baby with him — forcing him to leave Merlin and Rocco with his grandparents temporarily.

They’ve remained in their original exempted address, cared for and safe.
But the 30-day legal limit has now passed.

To keep them from being seized and put to sleep, a court must now approve the grandparents to become their keepers. That application costs £1600.
Their owner has already saved £500 — but time is running out.
