Laura jumped on our Waterfalls & Fairy Glen e-bike sightseeing tour and got "off the beaten track", finding waterfalls and secret glens only accessible by foot, bicycle, and a bit of local knowledge.

If you’re thinking about booking an e-bike tour with Lochs, Bens and Glens - DO IT! I did the Waterfalls and Fairy Glens tour today and it was absolutely brilliant.

The route was stunning - waterfalls, forest trails, peaceful lochs and little hidden glens you wouldn’t easily find on your own. The e-bike makes it really enjoyable, especially on the hills, so you can just focus on the scenery.

Fiona and Lance were great hosts - friendly, welcoming and very well organised. The whole experience felt smooth, safe and easy from start to finish.

I drove over from Edinburgh and found the starting point really easy to get to in a couple of hours. I took the Western Ferries from Gourock (which made it feel like a little holiday!). The ferries run every 20 minutes across to Dunoon. Once you’re over, the tour starting point is 5 minutes from the ferry terminal so it’s pretty simple!

Highly recommend!

This Friday, 12 June at 9am, we're running our Rosneath Explorer E-Bike Tour.

This is a fun day out on the Rosneath Peninsula that includes four ferry crossings.

-Ride time: 2hr
-Distance: 43km/26mi

Highlights:

-Four ferry crossings (fare included)
-Stunning views across Loch Long to Blairmore and Ardentinny
-Views at the top of Gareloch down to Faslane
-Submarine spotting!
-Stop at local pub (cost of food/drink not included)

12 June, 9am - Rosneath Explorer E-Bike Sightseeing Tour. We hop on two ferries to get onto the peninsula next door and explore the coast and hills of Rosneath.

19-20 June - due to road closures for the Argyll Rally, we'll be running our Doon the Watter and Rosneath Explorer e-bike tours on these days. Our Glen Fyne Gravel Tour is also available to book on that weekend.

27 June, 1pm - to coincide with the arrival of PS Waverley in Dunoon, we're running our Dunoon Daytripper e-bike sightseeing tour starting at 1pm and finishing at 3:30pm. This will allow any Waverley visitors to enjoy a tour of the town and catch the Waverley back to Glasgow!

28 June, 9am - our popular 3 Ferries & an Island adventure tour is back! Bring your own bike as we take on the hills of Cowal before catching the ferry to Bute to explore its rolling hills and pastures. The next ferry takes us over to Wemyss Bay where we'll ride on mixed used paths to Gourock to catch the ferry back to Dunoon.

We had an amazing day taking on Cowal's toughest road climbs. Unlike a club ride with competing egos and the fear of getting left behind, our adventure tours are focused on our guests with a no-drop, no-one-left-behind policy.

We took on the category 2 Bealach Maim climb at our own pace and everyone reached the top with smiles on their faces, even if a bit winded 🙃
