Today we continue our World Wildlife Week, celebrating the places where nature still sets the rhythm. 🐢

Today’s featured journey takes you to two remarkable corners of South America. First, the Galapagos Islands, where wildlife encounters feel almost surreal. Thanks to the islands’ isolation, endemic species flourish here, from giant tortoises and pale land iguanas to the world’s only tropical penguin.

Then onto mainland Ecuador. Walk through the Bellavista Cloud Forest Reserve in search of rare birdlife, spend time with an indigenous Amazonian community, and head into the highlands near Otavalo for a rare privilege, tracking the elusive spectacled bear in its natural habitat.

It is a journey that blends iconic wildlife with genuine cultural connection, delivered in a way that is socially and environmentally responsible.

Today is World Wildlife Day, a moment to celebrate the wild places and remarkable species that make our planet so extraordinary. 🦁

For us, it is also a reminder of why we do what we do. Travel, when done thoughtfully, has the power to protect habitats, support communities, and safeguard wildlife for generations to come.

To mark the occasion, we are dedicating this week to some of our favourite wildlife-focused journeys.

There could hardly be a more fitting place to begin than Madagascar. A destination that genuinely feels unlike anywhere else on Earth, where every step brings something unexpected, from lemurs leaping through the canopy to chameleons shifting colour before your eyes.
