Lovely trip down to the Scotland England border at Carter Bar to replicate a visit back in the 90s. Lovely views then off to Scott’s View before delicious lunch in Burts Hotel at Melrose.

Lovely trip up to Stronachlachar on Loch Katrine -last 12 miles on an “interesting” single-track road. Worth it for the views and lucky to catch sight of little steamship, “Sir Walter Scott” on one of its trips up the Loch.

A very enjoyable visit to the East Neuk today with a walk along the coastal path at Pittenweem. Noticed the rain clouds coming so took shelter till it passed over then headed for the harbour. Lovely part of Scotland.
