An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Heavy Goods Vehicle Motor Technician Apprentice within our family-run business in Egremont.

You will work as part of a team of technicians undertaking services, inspections and repairs to Brownrigg’s fleet of minibuses and coaches.

You must have strong problem solving skills and a willingness to learn all aspects of vehicles. You will attend Carlisle College on day release each week.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic vehicle valeter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the cleaning of our vehicles to the highest standard.

Duties

Given a list of vehicles to clean in allocated time.
All training and products provided.
Be able to work alone.
Be able to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
Maintain accurate records of vehicle cleaned and be responsible for managing items needed.

Skills

A friendly and approachable demeanour.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Basic problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise during shifts.
