Oh, we do like to be beside the seaside - especially on a hot day like today!

Summer sunshine has arrived, so we have added an extra day trip to the very popular Whitstable. if you have never been, it's a lovely seaside town with a colourful high street, full of independent shops, pastel cottages with quirky coastal names, and the freshest oysters down by the harbour. It’s an easy, relaxed place to wander and somewhere you will definitely want to return to.

The UK is just stunning! Neil, our Driver and Sally, our Tour Manager on the Coach and Goat holiday to the Lake District sent us this movie clip and I think you will agree we put a lot of thought and effort into our holidays, making sure you get to visit the best places!

Where have we been? We’ve been to London to visit the Queen…

Last week Sally (Tour Manager), Barry (Driver) and Belinda from the office took a full coach to London and enjoyed a great day out. Our first stop was Covent Garden, where there was time to enjoy lunch, grab a Frappuccino, browse the market and shops, and maybe even indulge in a little treat… Belinda, we’re looking at you with a Charlotte Tilbury bag! 😂

We then made our way across London to The King’s Gallery near Buckingham Palace where we enjoyed the afternoon exploring the stunning exhibition “Queen Elizabeth II: Her Life in Style.” A beautifully presented and fitting tribute to her late Majesty’s elegance and iconic style through the decades. Currently sold out online and with glowing reviews - we could certainly see why. Seeing the gowns up close and realising just how tiny her waist was - a standout comment. we asked about the Queen’s shoe size but 'one' does not have a shoe size as they were all made to measure - our best guess was a 6 and a half.

To round the day off, the coach picked us up (right outside - perfect) and we enjoyed a relaxing journey home, taking in the sights with some fun London commentary from Sally… including her eerily accurate Donald Trump impression! ha ha! A great end to a great day out.

We hope to see you on one of our coach trips soon - we’ll even save you a seat 😊

Our group just returned from a fantastic tour of Shropshire, with visits to Ironbridge, Bridgnorth, Severn Valley Railway, Black Country Museum, RAF Cosford, Abingdon and much more, including a cream tea in Bewdley (Barry enjoyed this one!). Thanks to Alistair for the pics.
