Today, as we mark 80 years since Victory in Europe Day, we remember our Grandad Tony — or as we affectionately called him, Great Toto (1918–2010). A proud Yorkshireman and a colourful character.
We honour him, and all those who sacrificed so much for the freedoms we enjoy today.
Their courage, resilience, and spirit will never be forgotten. ❤️

Today's Sunday stroll turned into a longer walk, as we walked from the cottages onto Aylesbeare Common. The RSPB reserve is part of the East Devon pebbledbed Heath. Enjoying the long trail you see ponds, streams and breathtaking views, whilst spoting the wildlife.

Today's Sunday stroll took us to beautiful Branscombe.🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️
We parked at the Village Hall (free parking but donations welcome via the wishing well) then we strolled down the path to Branscombe Beach. ⛱️ or you can walk to the picturesque Masons Arm for a bite to eat of drink.

You can enjoy the beach and cafe here or continue onto Beer along the coastal path.
