Had a great morning at Fire Work Glass Studio last Friday. We only made some actual glasswork! A paperweight, tumbler and Christmas bauble (see first photo).

Brilliant tuition and great to attend class where you come away with something to show for it. Really enjoyable and would highly recommend to friends and guests as a different activity to try. And yes, it was ruddy hot!

Personally I love a before and after photo montage. It’s nearly 5 years since we got planning permission for the conversion. I will always remember the “wow” when the wall was knocked out to give the view.

Sunrise over Longdown this morning after the Christmas comedown. Hope all our friends, family and guests had an enjoyable day, however you chose to spend it. Looking forward to the year ahead in The Hutch and The Burrow. We always see a wave of bookings at this time of year and throughout January as people settle down on the sofa to make their travel plans.
