🚢 Ship Visit – NCL Star 🌊

⭐ On Wednesday 3rd, Jemma had the pleasure of visiting the beautiful NCL Star, docked in South Queensferry under the forth rail bridge.

It was a little different getting there – we had to hop on a tender to reach the ship – which made it feel even more like the start of a cruise adventure!

Although the ship is 21 years old, you honestly wouldn’t know it. She still has such a modern, fresh feel throughout due to a refurb in 2021 – incredibly well maintained and full of stylish spaces to relax and unwind.

One of the standout features? The dining options! There are so many restaurants on board – you could easily enjoy a 7-night cruise and dine somewhere different every single evening. 🍽️✨ And with NCL’s Free at Sea offering, the value for money is absolutely fantastic. It really does add so much to the overall experience.

We were treated to a great tour of the whole ship, getting to see everything from the restaurants and lounges to the entertainment spaces.
Unfortunately, the Scottish weather had other plans, and the rain meant we couldn’t properly explore the outdoor decks.

Lunch was in the Garden Cafe buffet, and it did not disappoint. The choice was incredible and everything was delicious – from curry to pizza, salad to fajitas - definitely something for everyone.

The tender ride back was a little choppy thanks to the rain 🌧️ but it all added to the adventure of the day!

A fantastic visit overall – NCL Star is a ship that truly offers something for everyone. ⚓💙
