Centrally located between the vibrant City of Dundee, the Rural Burgh of Forfar, our market town, and the historic village of Glamis, Newton Farmhouse is an ideal location for exploring North East Scotland.

Volunteer Appreciation Week

At Newton Farm Holidays, we are incredibly proud of and grateful for every volunteer and student who has joined us over the years.

From our fantastic Halloween actors who help bring our events to life, to our dedicated farm volunteers who lend a helping hand in all weathers, and the vet students who come to learn and gain valuable experience on the farm each and every one of you has played an important part in what we do.

Volunteer Appreciation Week gives us the perfect opportunity to reflect on all the amazing people who have been part of our journey. Your enthusiasm, hard work, kindness, and support never go unnoticed, and we truly couldn’t do it all without you.

Thank you for your time, your energy, and for choosing to be part of the Newton Farm Holidays family. We appreciate every single one of you, past and present.

We’re flying through this home education term and making the most of every learning opportunity!

From planting our own crops, including potatoes and peas, to exploring the tractors and sprayer, enjoying tractor and trailer rides, and little ducklings hatching, this term has been packed with hands on experiences, discovery, and fun. It’s been wonderful to see learning come to life through practical activities and outdoor adventures.
