There are journeys… and then there are journeys you never quite forget ✨

At the end of April, one of our lovely clients set off from London St Pancras, gliding beneath the Channel to Paris in Eurostar Premier. An evening in the heart of the city followed, staying at the beautiful Pavillon de la Reine, tucked away in a quiet square that feels like a secret.

But the real magic began the next day…

Stepping aboard the iconic Venice Simplon-Orient-Express in Paris, they were transported to a world of polished wood, champagne toasts and timeless elegance. As the train rolled through the European countryside, every moment felt like a scene from another era, with fine dining, attentive service and ever-changing views beyond the window.

By late morning, Vienna welcomed them with its grand architecture and rich culture. With two nights to explore, from coffee houses to concert halls, the city revealed its charm at every turn.

FINAL CALL FOR QUIZZERS! 🧠🎉

We’re delighted to be supporting The Archie Foundation Highland Quiz Night this Saturday at the Royal British Legion in Inverness.

It’s always a privilege to support Archie and the incredible work they do for babies, children and families across the Highlands, particularly those in healthcare or facing bereavement.

The quiz runs from 7.30pm until 11pm, with teams of up to 6 people and entry at £10 per person. There’ll be a cash prize for the winning team, brilliant raffle prizes from local businesses, and some fantastic extra competitions too — including Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival weekend tickets, restaurant vouchers and flights to Tenerife.

We’d really appreciate anyone who is able to come along, bring a team, bring some cash, have a laugh, and help support a brilliant local charity.

Summer Sensory Sessions at Inverness Airport 🌿

At Murray Travel, we’re delighted to be working in partnership with Inverness Airport to bring to you Summer Sensory Sessions - calm, supportive airport visits designed for families with children or individuals who may benefit from a quieter, more relaxed airport experience.

These sessions are a great way to help build confidence and familiarity with the airport environment ahead of travel, whether it’s a first flight or simply getting comfortable with the journey process.

Each visit lasts around 45 minutes and is led by Amanda, Head of the Airport Assistance Team, who will guide you through key areas of the airport in a gentle and supportive way.

✨ What to expect:
- Calm, sensory-friendly environment
- Small groups (max 6 people from the same family)
- Guided walkthrough of the airport journey
- Time to ask questions and explore at your own pace
- Free parking included
- Sunflower lanyards available on request
