Following on from the fish spawning last week, the fishing was extremely difficult today, with very few carp on the feed

We’re always looking at ways to improve our surroundings, and this is definitely one we’re proud of! What started as a simple idea quickly turned into two farmers saying “leave it with us 🤣” … and somehow, weeks later, this appeared!

After plenty of hard work, long days, and probably more cups of coffee and bacon barms than we can count, we’ve created a beautiful new pond beside our new development, adding even more to the peaceful setting here at Bowland Lakes 🤍

Last match of the year 🎣🎣

Final Fishing Match of 2025 At Bowland Lakes - 13th December!

The final match will take place on Swanbrook Lake, and as per many requests, this one will be slightly different, this is a mixed match where ALL FISH COUNT.

The winner will be the angler with the heaviest overall bag at the end of the day.

One rod/pole per angler.

Fishing will commence at 9am and conclude at 3pm.

Swanbrook has a lot less pegs available than the Canal Lake (where we hold the Super Silvers Matches, and a lot of last weeks anglers have already booked on this one)

We only have 6 pegs left available for this match - so please call the shop on 01524 951219 if you wish to attend.

The winner will take home £200 in cash, while there will be voucher prizes for 2nd and 3rd.
