So proud of Megan Duffy on her 200th parkrun! Congratulations 🙌 🏃‍♀️ 🥇

-“Huge congratulations goes to Megan Duffy or completing her 200th park run. What a fantastic achievement! We’d also like to give a special shout-out to Maisie the dog 🐾 on completing her 75th parkrun. That’s 75 Saturdays of faithfully turning up, running the course, and almost certainly wondering why humans need a bar code to get a result!”

Hi all,

We are collecting for the MHS - Christmas hamper appeal.

Have a look at the look below and if you can spare a few pounds that would be great.

Also, it would be fantastic if you donate any sweets gift you haven’t used that were given by the students.

Thank you
Lisa

Incredibly proud that Lisa has been nominated for Outstanding Achievement at the awards!

Lisa Lane wrote a fantastic nomination encapsulating exactly what it is that makes Lisa S the perfect person for this award. We’ve shared a short section below:

“It is difficult to put into words just how much Lisa has achieved, because her success cannot be measured purely by the size of her business. It can be seen in the hundreds of families she has supported, the thousands of international students she has welcomed into our communities, the agents who return year after year, the young people she mentors, and the countless acts of kindness she carries out without ever expecting recognition.

Lisa Sullivan has taken her own experience as a host mother and transformed it into an organisation that now brings together hundreds of families and students from across the world.
She has built a highly respected business.
She has created employment and income opportunities.
She has helped families through difficult times.
She has supported children within her local community.
She has mentored young people.
She has brought cultures together.
And throughout all of that growth, she has remained the same person who will pick up the telephone, turn up at somebody’s door or put her hand in her own pocket if she thinks somebody genuinely needs her help.” 💙

Some wonderful news for us to share 🔊
MHS – Student Homestays has been nominated for Best Accommodation Provider at the Awards!

“As a not so small, family-run business, these nominations mean so much. Since starting MHS in 2013, I have put my heart into building a service where students feel safe, welcome and cared for, and our schools and agents know they can always rely on us.” - Lisa Sullivan.
