We take pride in collaborating with Raynham Estate, located nearby. Dale and his team expertly butcher the entire animal, ensuring minimal waste. Their dedication is evident as they skillfully prepare this exceptional produce over coal barbecues.

Doris Dobby, our pub dog, is somewhat of an old gal these days and is mostly retired from hospitality life, although sometimes she makes it in to check that everything is all in order.

Duckling Cottage was on the agenda for a quick look around today, our very own self-catering property that sleeps six and of course allows dogs!

A little 90th Birthday summer garden party at Barrack House. The sun shone and the peach Bellini flowed, a lovely chilled event.

I few snaps from our wreath making workshop with Hannah Hunnam Flowers. Everyone absorbed Hannah’s creativity and created some beautiful wreaths, fueled by mulled wine, caffeine and yummy cake.

This is our last workshop of the year but we have some very exciting ‘Secret Events’ to announce through 2024.

Another workshop down, part of our ‘secret events’ at Barrack House located next to our pub The Dabbling Duck . The lovely group had a day on Lino printing and jewellery making with lunch at the pub and sweet street in the afternoon .

We only ever have a limited number available for these workshops, so you always have to secure a place quickly , so watch out for the next one.

Big thanks to the wonderfully talented makers Sue Welfare Artist & Printmaker and Claire Howard Jewellery not forgetting the creative group that came.
