✈️ 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐄𝐒𝐓 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲… 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐨 𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐞! 😭😂

A long travel day ahead, the holiday blues are definitely kicking in and I’m fully expecting the jet lag to hit me somewhere over the Atlantic 🫠

But I can 100% recommend these shorter sailings out of Miami. I’ve done two this way now and when you pair the cruise with a few nights in Miami beforehand, it makes such a good holiday! 🌴🚢 You get the city break, the sunshine AND the cruise all rolled into one.

Thankfully I don’t have too long to feel sorry for myself… because I’ve got a pretty quick turnaround before I’m off again! 😂✈️

Next stop… Montenegro with my daughter 🇲🇪💙

A slightly more chilled one this time, exploring what looks like an absolutely beautiful country. I’m really looking forward to this one!

For now though… airport, plane, jet lag and back to reality we go! 😭✈️

❤️ SCARLETT NIGHT… A NIGHT WAS HAD! ❤️

After a brilliant day in Puerto Plata, which honestly has to be one of the best cruise ports I’ve been to so much to without having to go too far from the ship, 🙌🌴, it was back onboard, red outfits on and straight into Scarlet Night! 💃🍹

We danced, we drank, we definitely made the most of it… and I think we’ll leave the rest onboard 😂❤️

What happens on Scarlet Night, stays on Scarlet Night! 👀🔥

☀️🌴 DAY 2 – MIAMI! 🇺🇸

Well, Day 2 was another fab day! We hit Miami Beach first thing and WOW, it was a hot one today! 🥵 We headed out for a walk and some breakfast, then back to the hotel for a couple of hours relaxing by the pool. 🍹☀️

In the afternoon, some of us had a boat trip planned and I’m SO glad I went! We headed down to Bayside and it was literally $15 each… absolute bargain! Even better, they served theeee BEST frozen mojitos onboard. 😂🍹

We cruised past Fisher Island, the most expensive Zip codes in the US, where our guide was casually dropping names like Cristiano Ronaldo, Tom Cruise, Oprah Winfrey and Tiger Woods! 🤯

Then it was on past some absolutely HUGE waterfront mansions and yachts, with the guide pointing out homes owned by the likes of Shakira, Will Smith and Jackie Chan, plus filming locations from Bad Boys II. 🛥️🏝️

We were proper tourists today! 😂 Some of the homes we passed were apparently worth anywhere from $30 MILLION to $95 MILLION!! And these are just HOLIDAY homes… different world altogether! 🤯😂

Then it was back to get the glad rags on and head out to Española Way for the evening. What a gorgeous little street, lined with restaurants, bars and lights. ✨ We had Italian for dinner before taking a steady walk down Ocean Drive, stopping off for a drink here and there… well, it would be rude not to! 🍸😂

Absolutely loved today. We’ve laughed, explored, relaxed and had such a good time.

And now… NEXT STOP: VIRGIN VOYAGES! 🚢⚓️❤️

Miami, you’ve been a blast… but it’s time to get onboard! 🥳

🌴 MIAMI – NIGHT ONE COMPLETE! 🇺🇸🍹

WE ARE HERE!! ✈️🌴

A group of 21 of us have landed in Miami, and we’re celebrating not one, not two, but THREE milestone birthdays while we’re here! 🥳🎂

We had a great flight over with Virgin Atlantic ✈️, everything was really smooth through the airport and then it was straight to our home for the next couple of nights, Freehand Miami.

With 21 of us, we needed somewhere that could actually accommodate us all, and honestly this place fits us perfectly! It’s quirky, full of character, has a brilliant atmosphere and is in such a good spot. 🌴

After checking in and freshening up, we headed straight out to Ocean Drive, where I’d booked us a table at Palace…

Let’s just say A NIGHT WAS HAD 🤣🍹💃🏼 What happens on Ocean Drive stays on Ocean Drive!

Heading down to London today because I’m going to MIAMI!! Wahoooo 🥳☀️🌴

Work-wise, I will have my laptop with me, but replies will be minimal while I’m away. I’ll respond where I can, but remember I’ll also be 5 hours behind the UK.

Being on a cruise ship today is getting me excited to my own holiday 🛳️🛳️

🚢𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐃. 𝐎𝐋𝐒𝐄𝐍 𝐁𝐎𝐋𝐄𝐓𝐓𝐄 𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐏 𝐓𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐓𝐎𝐃𝐀𝐘! 🚢

It’s a VERY early start for me this morning 😴☕️ but all for good reason… I’m heading over to Liverpool to spend the day onboard Fred. Olsen’s Bolette for a full ship tour!

I’ve sailed with Fred. Olsen before, having had the pleasure of cruising the Norwegian Fjords onboard Borealis, so I already have first-hand experience of the brand. But there’s nothing quite like actually getting onboard and having a proper look around another ship for myself.

One of my standout memories from Borealis was definitely the food 🤤 It was absolutely delicious, and the service throughout the ship was incredible.

But Fred. Olsen really comes into its own with its itineraries. They offer some absolutely beautiful sailings, and because their ships are smaller, they can reach smaller ports and destinations that some of the huge cruise ships simply can’t. 🌍⚓️

So today I’ll be having a good nosey around Bolette 👀😂 checking out the cabins, restaurants, bars, facilities and everything in between.
