Please welcome new start Connor to our team! Connor joined us as maternity cover at the beginning of August following two years working at Hays Travel in Gala, where he joined on Hays Travel's highly respected apprenticeship programme and went on to achieve an SVQ Level 3 in Travel Services. As Hendersons Travel is a member of the Hays Travel Independence Group, Connor is already familiar with our in-house systems.
Connor is from Hawick and you may know him from his volunteer fund-raising activities during and after his time at Hawick High School. Here's a little more about him:
๐๐ฎ๐๐ผ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐๐๐ถ๐ป๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป Tenerife - I love Siam Park, it's an amazing waterpark and the largest in Europe. There are plenty of activities to do all around the island and great restaurants along the Costa Adeje seafront. The weather is reliably warm and dry too.
๐๐ฎ๐๐ผ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐ฐ๐ถ๐๐ Toronto - I was there for the World Cup and seeing so many different cultures mix was amazing. I also really liked visiting all the sports stadiums, the Ice Hockey Hall of Fame and going up CN Tower - the views of the city and Lake Ontario from high up were spectacular.
๐ช๐ผ๐๐น๐ฑ ๐บ๐ผ๐๐ ๐น๐ถ๐ธ๐ฒ ๐๐ผ ๐๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ I really want to visit Japan and Australia. It would be fascinating to experience the culture and sights of Tokyo, and see some of Australia's wonderful beaches.
๐๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐๐/๐ต๐ผ๐ฏ๐ฏ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ I love watching football and go to as many games as possible. I also like Formula One and playing video games with my friends. I like music and have been to a few concerts recently. Of course, I also love travelling.
๐ฃ๐ฒ๐๐ I have two sprocker spaniels and they are nuts! ๐
Connor has been settling into life at Hendersons Travel nicely and will continue to integrate under and be supported by the highly experienced pairing of Branch Manager Caroline and Senior Consultant Carrie. He's excited to help our valued customers make their holiday plans!
