We are back in the WW1 Battlefields of the Ypres Salient and the Somme this weekend with students and teachers from Inverkeithing High School. With exclusive use of purpose built school group accommodation this History tour is still a firm favourite for KS3 and GCSE History students.

It was an early start for Bishop Perowne CE College this morning as they head to Ypres and the Somme on their WW1 Battlefields tour. Students will attend the Last Post Ceremony, take a guided tour of Wellington Quarry and visit the cemeteries and memorials at Thiepval, Newfoundland Park, Essex Farm, Langemark and Tyne Cot. An incredibly worthwhile and still relatively economical school history trip.
