When some places say 'accessible' but really they mean a ramp out back.

It's a big week for team Calvert Kielder, as we launch our brand new website. About 1000x easier to find and book your accessible holidays, outdoor activities and retreats with us online. We think it's looking pretty good! 😏

Huge thanks to our fabulous guests who co-designed sections of the website with us, making sure it's fit for folks with a wide variety of access needs. And of course, to Neil Denham for the new photos, TWDA Creative Services for the web design and our whole staff for getting involved. Proud of this place and this team. 💙

This week the folks at Tynedale Lions Club presented us with a £5,000 donation towards our charitable work!

This generous support will help us continue creating opportunities for people with disabilities to experience adventure, build confidence, develop independence and make memories that really matter when visiting us. ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone at Tynedale Lions for your generosity, encouragement and belief in what we do. We loved welcoming their members for an explore and to chat about our exciting plans for the future.

Description: Pictured is outgoing President Mike Potter presenting the cheque to our CEO, Clive Gray, alongside member of Tynedale Lions Club.

18 years. One perfect shot.

Jonathan has been coming to Calvert Kielder for 18 years. Over that time, he’s discovered plenty of things he enjoys — but archery is something he has a particular talent for.

The trouble is, opportunities to put that talent to the test aren’t always easy to find. So when Jonathan picks up a bow at Calvert, he knows exactly what to do… 🎯

We never get over it. Watching family and friends see their loved ones achieve things they didn't know they'd be able to do here. What a privilege.
