Claire is an outdoor enthusiast, certified first aider, and trainee Mountain Leader with a deep love for exploring both the familiar and hidden corners of Northumberland. She’s passionate about creating unique, welcoming tours that make everyone feel at home, weaving together stories that bring the rich history and natural beauty of the area to life. When she’s not out exploring, Claire’s likely adding to her growing collection of books she’ll definitely read one day, sampling local craft beers, or diving into creative projects—always ready for the next adventure! Originally from Yorkshire, Katie ventured into the “proper North” in 2002 and quickly fell for the sweeping horizons, rugged scenery, and rich heritage of Northumberland—and she’s called it home ever since. With a background in sports coaching and as a run leader at her local club, Katie loves supporting people of all abilities on their journeys, creating tours that are inclusive, fun, and full of discovery. Always up for an adventure, Katie is a fan of ultra races (especially the ones with plenty of snacks!). When she’s not on the trails in her trusty running shoes, you’ll find her dancing to country tunes in her cowboy boots, embracing the spirit of exploration every step of the way.
