📢 Just a quick update for all my customers!

If you have any outstanding enquiries or would like to discuss any travel plans, please get in touch over the next 2/3 days.

From Friday, I’ll be setting sail on a fantastic Cunard voyage aboard the iconic Queen Mary 2 to experience everything she has to offer. I’ll be sharing plenty of photos and insights along the way, so keep an eye on my social media pages!

I will be sailing the high seas for 6 days, I will have access to emails intermittently and will reply when I can, but rest assured, a fellow Travel Counsellor will be looking after my business. If you need any assistance or support during that time, you’ll still have access to support 24/7.

For the last couple of months, so many people were saying:

Madeira is one of those destinations that completely surprises people — they go expecting a lovely island and come back wanting to book again.

Its very different from a typical beach holiday. It’s a volcanic island with spectacular scenery, a relaxed atmosphere, incredible food and wine, and year-round spring-like weather.

Customers love it because it offers so much more than just sunshine:

Who am I ?

Hi, I’m Debbie, your travel-obsessed Northerner based in the North East of England. I live with my husband Paul, my daughter Hannah and our miniature schnauzer Hugo, who very much thinks he is in charge of the house!

When I am not planning holidays, you will usually find me with family or friends, sharing good food and a nice glass of wine. I am a big fan of an icy cold French white, enjoyed somewhere sunny if I can manage it. We have had a house in Spain for 20 years now, so it really is our second home, and one of the best things about being with Travel Counsellors is that I can work from there and still look after my lovely customers.

Cruise is my big passion and I have been on more ships than I can count, but Regent Seven Seas Splendour has to be my favourite. Princess Cruises also has a special place in my heart, as my very first cruise was with them on my honeymoon. That said, I do not just book cruises: I book all types of holidays, all over the world, from city breaks and beach escapes to big tailor-made adventures, I love to share and love to share my knowledge and experiences.

My favourite destination is Thailand and Spain

My last trip was a girls’ getaway to Spain, and coming up I am very lucky to have a Cunard work trip, then Mallorca, Egypt and India. Japan is firmly on my bucket list.

Yesterday I spent the
day in Edinburgh at the TC Together Day for a regional mini-conference alongside our main annual conference.

One of the highlights for me was being asked by head office to share my tips and advice on customer referrals, why my business is built on referrals and why getting things right for my customers is so important. Referrals from happy clients, recommending me to friends, family and colleagues, are a huge part of how I’ve grown my business over the years.

I’ll admit I was a little nervous getting up on stage, but once I started talking I absolutely loved it and afterwards I was buzzing!

It was such a great day catching up with fellow TCs, meeting travel suppliers and spending time with the amazing head office team who support us throughout the year. The whole event felt like a really positive reset and a chance to refocus for the rest of the year ahead.

I genuinely love these kinds of events because they keep me motivated, inspired and remind me that I absolutely made the right decision in running my own business. The TC community really is something special.

A really enjoyable and rewarding day all round
