Just had the loveliest four nights in Mallorca on a girls’ trip to celebrate one of my lovely friends turning 60. 🥂🎂

And what a place to celebrate!

I haven’t been to Mallorca for about 20 years, But WOW… I’d forgotten just how beautiful it is! 😍

We stayed in a gorgeous private villa with a pool in Pollença town and I have to say, I’m now a BIG fan of the villa holiday!

Pollença is absolutely stunning. 🥰

Beautiful cobbled streets, a gorgeous town square, lovely restaurants and so many pretty little corners to wander around.

And the best bit for us was that we didn’t even hire a car.

We just got a transfer from the airport, unpacked the cases and that was it! 😂

The villa was only about a 10-minute walk into town, so we could spend the day lounging around the pool, enjoying a barbecue, having a drink… basically doing absolutely nothing very productive! 😂🍹

Then when we fancied going out, we just wandered into town for dinner.

Perfect!

We also got the local bus one day into Port de Pollença — only a few euros — and went on a sunset boat trip. ⛵️🌅

Such good fun and definitely one of the highlights of the trip.

And it really made me realise how flexible a villa holiday is.

Want to chill by the pool all day? You can.

Fancy heading into town for a lovely meal? Off you go.

Want to cook? You can.

Don’t want to cook? Even better… there are loads of restaurants! 😂

Friends, family, couples, a group of you — it just works really well because everyone can do their own thing without having to be joined at the hip 24/7! 😂

So yes, Mallorca has definitely gone back on my list of places I’d happily visit again.

Although maybe next time I’ll need to work on the “coming home” part… because I’m not very good at that! 😂

Exploring the seas on Explora Journey

My lovely clients have just returned from their very first Explora Journeys cruise.
They are very experienced luxury cruisers who really value a relaxed atmosphere, exceptional food and genuine, attentive service.

✈️ Out of Office! 🌴☀️

From this Sunday, I’ll be taking five days off in beautiful Mallorca, staying in Pollensa Old Town with friends to celebrate a very special big birthday! 🥂🎉

Don’t worry — you’re still in safe hands! 💙 You’ll have the that 24/7 Travel Counsellors support, and a fellow Travel Counsellor colleague will also be looking after my business while I’m away. So your in safe hands.

Memories made - Family safari in Tanzania & Zanzibar

Peru and Brazil - one epic journey….

From the cobbled streets of Cusco and the white city of Arequipa, to the legendary Inca Trail and sunrise at Machu Picchu, my lovely clients have just returned from a true bucket list adventure.

We started by chatting through everything they wanted to see and do and what they were comfortable spending, then I crafted a trip that ticked every box: Lima and Arequipa, hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, mountain biking, white-water rafting and zip-lining through dramatic Peruvian landscapes.

To finish, they unwound in iconic Rio: helicopter flight over the city with sweeping views of Christ the Redeemer, time on the famous Copacabana beach and even a football match for that unforgettable Brazilian atmosphere.
