Welcome back to Rianna who just booked her place on our Peru trip in August 2027. This photo of Rianna was taken in Kotor on our Montenegro trip 😁

Image description: a green and blue background introducing Rianna Curley. The text reads β€œWelcome back to Rianna Curley, going to: Peru August 2027!” There's a photo of Rianna smiling outdoors by a mountain lake, alongside smaller polaroid-style photos of Peruvian landscapes, Inca stone ruins, local Peruvian people, and boats on Lake Titicaca. The VoluntEars logo appears at the bottom left.

La Fortuna in Costa Rica where our group visited a local school, walked to a huge waterfall and swam in the plunge pool, explored a rain forest and relaxed in volcanic hot springs as it went dark in the evening.

Welcome back for the 5th time (we think!) to Mel Demetriou, who just booked her place on our Peru trip for August 2027. Mel is truly one of the funniest people you could ever meet - she has the ability to make you laugh hysterically within a few seconds of meeting her - we can't wait to spend 2 more weeks with her next year 🀩😎πŸ₯°

Sorry we've been a bit quiet! Here's a video of the boat trip we did to Tortuga Island in Costa Rica recently. We had the boat all to ourselves, had our lunch cooked for us on the island, saw loads of bright colored fish while we snorkelled in the sea and even managed a Mexican wave in the speed boat coming home! 😎

From the coast to the hills! Today our Costa Rica group travelled from Montezuma on the Pacific coast to Monteverde in the hills surrounded by cloud forest. Over the next couple of days they'll be learning more about the local wildlife, from howler monkeys to butterflies and sloths!

From strangers to family πŸ’™

One of the most special parts of VoluntEars trips is the friendships that form along the way. We love meeting new people every time we travel and we love knowing that many people keep in touch with each other after our trips finish, and even join future trips together to experience more adventures with people they got to know on previous VoluntEars trips. Thanks to everyone who makes this such a special community to be part of πŸ₯°
