Our group in Ghana visited Osu Castle, Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, Black Star Square, the National Museum and Independence Gate to learn about some Ghanaian culture and history. Thanks to our lovely guides and amazing communicators for sharing and interpreting all the information!

Today our Ghana group visited Boti waterfalls and umbrella rock. The earth here has an incredible orange/brown colour that looks beautiful with the green trees and other vegetation. The waterfall is really powerful even though it's not rainy season!

Happy to see that some of the money VoluntEars donated to a partner deaf school in Sri Lanka this summer has been used to buy a new mower for the school which will help them mow the cricket ground.

The school secretary Malani sent this today "Thank you once again for your generous support and kindness towards our school. Your contribution has been very helpful to us."
