It feels like Japan is on everyone’s travel wish list right now—and after visiting last October, I can completely see why! 🇯🇵✨

The hype is 100% real. Japan is a seamless mix of futuristic energy, deeply rooted tradition, and world-class hospitality that lives up to every bit of the expectation.

Here are a few highlights from my trip that explain why it deserves a spot on your bucket list:

🏯 Tokyo & Kyoto contrast: Moving from the ultra-modern neon energy of Tokyo straight into the quiet, historic streets of Kyoto feels like traveling through time.

⚡️ The Shinkansen (Bullet Train): Smooth, ridiculously fast, and the ultimate way to zip across the country while taking in the views.

⛩️ Fushimi Inari Taisha: Walking through the tunnel of 10,000 bright orange torii gates in Kyoto is pure magic in person.

A year ago, I was standing in Kyoto learning to play traditional Japanese Taiko drums—and I'm still talking about it!
Japan is truly out of this world. In just one trip, we got to experience the wild contrast of modern Tokyo and timeless culture:
📍 Tokyo Highlights: Walking through the world-famous Shibuya Scramble Crossing, exploring the vibrant Shibuya district, and bringing out our inner kid at Tokyo Disneyland!
🚅 The Shinkansen: Riding the high-speed bullet train across the country from Tokyo straight into Kyoto.
🥁 Kyoto Magic: Immersing ourselves in ancient traditions and getting a hands-on Taiko drumming lesson (easily one of the coolest things I’ve ever done)!

Beyond the sights, the people are unbelievably welcoming, the scenery is breathtaking, and the food is amazing.
