After what feels like two years of running around like a headless chicken, it’s so nice to be in a quieter season. I’m catching up on all the things: paperwork, making sure the houses are looking fresh, experimenting (badly) with video editing, 😬 and pretending to be a social media guru.

And the highlight of my day? A gorgeous bouquet of Christmas flowers from No. 16. Thank you, Elspeth—it was such a lovely surprise! Slower days + thoughtful gestures = happy me. 🌸✨

Eeek, it’s a bit scary putting myself out there, but after 5 years of hiding behind the camera, it’s probably about time I introduced myself! So, hello everyone! 👋 I’m Jill, and Ness Holiday Homes is my third baby.

With the help of my handy hubby, these two (Little Boss & my Wee Assistant), and our wonderful team; we look after the most amazing selection of homes in and near Inverness, Scotland.

I absolutely adore what I do! Transforming spaces into beautiful havens and welcoming guests to our homes & our city 😊. It’s a far cry from my former life in office jobs, but I’ve never been happier. They say if you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life—and it’s true!
