The Mull of Galloway Trust was formed in 2012 with the objective of acquiring and preserving the area of national and local importance for the community and visitors to the area. The Mull of Galloway Trust is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) (Register No. SC043557) and the Trust owns the three former Lighthouse Keepers’ Cottages, RSPB Visitor Centre, 30 acres of heathland, which is an RSPB Nature Reserve, and the Foghorn. The three Lighthouse Holiday Cottages offer holiday accommodation all year round and contribute valuable funds to the Community Trust. The Lighthouse is owned and operated by Northern Lighthouse Board. Climb the Lighthouse and visit the Exhibition from Easter to the end of October. Our holiday cottage guests have complimentary tours as part of their holiday package.
