Art, nature and accessibility come together at the Forest of Dean Sculpture Trail, which is celebrating 40 years of inspiring visitors at Beechenhurst - Forestry England this year. 🎨🌳

Since 1986, this unique outdoor trail has invited people to discover artworks created specifically for the forest, including the iconic stained-glass sculpture Cathedral by Kevin Atherton.

Today, visitors can explore 18 sculptures that evolve alongside the woodland landscape, making every visit a little different.
We love attractions that offer flexible, self-paced experiences, allowing visitors to engage with culture and nature in ways that suit their individual needs.

With accessible facilities at Beechenhurst and opportunities to enjoy the trail at your own pace, the Sculpture Trail is a fantastic example of inclusive outdoor tourism.

Congratulations to Forestry England and everyone involved in creating four decades of accessible art in the forest!

This Carers Week, Tourism for All celebrates the incredible contribution of unpaid carers across the UK. 💜

Everyone deserves the opportunity to enjoy a break, discover new places and create lasting memories. Accessible tourism plays an important role in helping carers and those they support experience time away with greater confidence and ease.

To all carers, thank you for everything you do, every day.
