A U T U M N • C L A Y • W O R K S H O P

This has been in the planning stage for a while now and I’m so excited to be bringing you my newest clay hand-building project ~ a sweet treat board, just in time for those cosy autumn evenings in!

At the workshop, you will be taught how to make your own ‘sweet treat board’ ~ a special kind of board (designed by me - I’m a sucker for sweet fondue!) - it features a well for a sweet dipping sauce (think chocolate, caramel or pistachio) and space for brownies, fruit, marshmallows and any extras you might choose to dip!

👉 This is a simple, beginners level project which will teach you some basic clay hand-building techniques and give you the satisfaction of creating your own unique piece of ceramics. So no need for prior clay experience!

What you need to know;

🗓️SUNDAY 27th SEPTEMBER 2-4pm

📍The Brownie Addict, Rugby

🎟️ Tickets cost £55pp and include all the materials and support you need to build you board ~ booking link in our bio as well as our website.

👉 At the workshop you can choose a hot drink from the menu and when you collect your finished board (4-6 weeks after the event) you can select a brownie/blondie from the counter to chop up and use for your very first dipping board outing! This is all included in your workshop ticket.

During the workshop sweet treats and additional drinks will be available to purchase too.

Tickets are limited to 12 spaces for this one so do be quick if you want to join us!

We’re super excited to be working with Elle’s to bring pottery painting to Coventry!

If you haven’t visited yet, Elle’s is a fantastic social dining hub ~ perfectly situated by Coventry Train Station. It’s home to six independent, local kitchens with a boutique bar serving signature cocktails, barista coffee and craft drinks ~ and it’s just the perfect spot for getting creative!

Join us on the evening of Thursday 8th October 7-9pm for Cocktails and Pottery ~ tickets are available via the link in our bio and here’s what to expect;

🍸Your first cocktail ~ chose between a Tiramissu Martini, Strawberry Daiquiri or a Virgin Strawberry Mojito

🍸A range of seasonal pottery pieces to choose between ~ prices start at £15 and are payable in addition to your ticket

🍸Some simple techniques and designs to follow and specialist glazes and equipment available to use

🍸 Lots of help and guidance from the Crazy Kiln team!

Throughout the evening you are welcome to order food and extra drinks or stay on a little later after you’ve finished painting!

At the end of the evening your pottery will be returned to our Kenilworth studio for glazing and firing and will be available to collect approx two weeks afterwards.

CLAY IMPRINTS ✨
Wednesday 16th September

I’ve made the decision to stop offering outprints (prints taken into salt dough and cast in plaster) and going forward I will only be offering clay imprints. This means I can now offer imprint appointments at Farmers Fayre on specific dates for these special prints. And very exciting, I’ll be offering prints for babies, children and dogs!

And I know it’s the hottest day in the year BUT I must also share my yearly PSA 📣 Don’t leave Christmas until Christmas 📣 ~ I know it’s far too early to be thinking about this, the kids haven’t even gone back to school yet! But I get booked up very quickly and I don’t offer H+F Print Keepsake events after October. My workload is just too steep by then to take on anymore baubles!

P O T T E R Y P A I N T I N G ✨

Did you know that once a month we run a relaxed pottery painting evening for adults (and teens ages 14+) at the Abbie Mundy - it’s usually the first Wednesday or Thursday of the month from 7-9pm

It’s a calm and quiet evening where you can catch up with friends or family - you don’t need to worry about getting dressed up (bonus!) and you can bring along your own drinks and snacks (helping you watch those post-holiday-pre-Christmas pennies!).

Each month we bring along a selection of seasonal pottery pieces as well as customer favourites from our collection and you can enjoy an evening of creatively to start the month.

Tickets are £12 and available via the link in our bio as well as our website ~ pottery prices start at £15 and this is payable on the evening of the event.

As the season slowly starts to change, we’d love to see you there and welcome you for a cosy evening of creativity ✨

L O M B O K ~ I N D O N E S I A 🇮🇩

We’re home now ~ back to the studio and normal life where dragon fruit is no longer a staple part of any breakfast and every day doesn’t end watching the sunsetting over a volcano.

It was pretty much the adventure of a lifetime and it’s going to take a while to fully take it all in. The most beautiful country with the most beautiful people ~ we swam in waterfalls, snorkelled with turtles, ate sooo much fresh fruit and the most delicious food we’ve ever had, cycled through villages, explored rice terraces, high-fived the local kids! A holiday like no other which definitely took us out of our comfort zone at times!

We’re all well rested (maybe not physically but definitely mentally) and ready to take on the world again ~ next stop Sixth Form, University and with one eye on the horizon, Christmas 🙈

Looking forward to getting back to painting and lots of exciting events this autumn with you all,

Lots of you have been in touch about booking in for hand and footprints onto pottery ~ at the moment I’m fully booked for August and with the studio closed throughout July, this means we’re looking at autumn dates now!

🍁 To minimise the amount of messages during our July closure, once I’m back in August, I’ll be releasing some September and October dates so you can start planning ahead!

🍁 These events will be held, as usual, at and are by appointment only. We’ll take your little one’s hand and footprints and complete all the design work for you.

🍁 We also offer a range of different types of events and one-off collaborations with local businesses ~ just keep an eye out on our socials and website where we’ll share information about these ones!
