In March, join LA23NET for a morning of creativity at Lingholm. Led by professional photographer Tom Kay, this hands-on workshop will help you refine your photography skills for professional use - whether for social media, marketing, or creative projects - and network with like-minded professionals.

The morning begins with coffee and freshly baked pastries from The Lingholm Kitchen, followed by an expert-led session where Tom will guide us through key techniques to enhance our photos.

Then, we’ll head out to explore the stunning estate grounds, putting our skills into practice - capturing breathtaking landscapes, historic architecture, and a few selfies too.

For those who’d like to continue the experience, there’s an optional lunch at The Glasshouse.

Whether you’re bringing a camera or a smartphone, this event is perfect for all levels, from beginners to seasoned photographers.

Housekeeper wanted

Lingholm is a small country estate with 13 luxury self-catering properties that sit on the edge of Derwentwater, close to Keswick. We are on the hunt for a self-motivated person to join our Housekeeping team. Our regular changeover days are Monday and Friday so the right person for this role must be available both those days.

Hours flexible between 9-4.

The right candidate will have experience of hospitality housekeeping, a keen eye for detail is a must, also a positive can do attitude.

Role includes -
Work within the team on changeover days (Mondays & Fridays), cleaning to a high standard with a keen eye for detail.

Following a medical emergency on the footpath outside the estate a few weeks ago we have installed a defibrillator on the public side of the cafe gates. Access to this is unrestricted and it is available 24/7.
It took witnessing this and seeing Keswick Mountain Rescue and paramedics in action for us to realise just how difficult it is to get help to someone in this area.

We are all still in awe of the team at KMR who are simply amazing. All volunteers who drop everything to help. If any of our lovely followers would like to donate to them you can find the link below. You never know when you might need help and they rely on donations to save lives.

During the quieter times we busy ourselves refreshing our properties to keep everywhere looking their best.
