I’m back after a wonderful week onboard P&o Iona
I’m working through my messages and will catch up as soon as possible

We had a great week, travelling as a large group, we had young children , teens and grandparents in our party and there really was something for everyone onboard

The food was fantastic with a huge choice of included dining and speciality dining , something to suit every taste
Entertainment was great , comedians , shows , silent discos and even some bingo

We included our drinks package on this cruise , which we found excellent value for money , with so much included

Overall a great ship for families and couples
Highly recommend

I’ve had quite a few messages and concerns over the last few weeks regarding upcoming summer holidays , and there has been a huge amount of noise in the press, so I thought I would just post a quick update

✈️ JET FUEL & TRAVEL PLANS: WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Information from the UK Government

✅ Key Messages
➡️There is no current need for passengers to change their travel plans
➡️UK airlines are not seeing a shortage of jet fuel
➡️Airlines purchase fuel in advance, and airports maintain resilient fuel stocks
➡️The Government is working with industry and international partners to keep passengers moving
➡️Ongoing monitoring is in place to minimise disruption

⛽ Is There a Jet Fuel Shortage?
➡️No.
➡️UK airlines confirm they are not currently experiencing shortages. Fuel is typically secured in advance, and airports hold reserve supplies to ensure continuity.

⚖️ Your Rights if a Flight is Cancelled
➡️You are entitled to:
➡️A full refund, or
➡️An alternative flight (re-routing)

This applies if you:
➡️Depart from a UK airport (any airline)
➡️Arrive in the UK on a UK or EU airline
