Our 51 and 53 seater carrying out a school camp trip for a local primary school a few months ago.

We carry out these trips right throughout the year for all different councils and educational authorities.

It’s always exciting memories for children and I’m sure we all remember our first school camp trip.

Coach hire can take you to the places the trains and planes can’t!

Throwback from last October where we collected our brand new EVM AOS Grand Toro coach from the Euro Bus Expo 2024 show at the NECC Birmingham.
It was used on the EVM stand for display at the show.

This has proved a very popular coach thanks to its 35 seats (plus crew/tour guide seat) and excellent luggage capacity for small to medium sized groups.

We are gearing up for National Coach Week that is being hosted by the RHA from 12th to 18th May.
We are proud to be entering our 2nd year of membership with RHA Coaches.

This annual event – the RHA’s fourth – is dedicated to celebrating the coach industry's significant contribution to the UK's tourism sector and overall economy.

Coach travel plays a unique and under recognised role in the UK economy and environment. It carries millions of visitors to destinations and attractions as well as essential trips such as school transport and rail replacement services.

There are around 3,000 coach operators in the UK, directly employing approximately 42,000 people and contributing more than £17 billion to the UK economy.

Whether you are looking for a brand new career or you want to renew your licence and get back into coach driving, we are here to help!

We offer the opportunity for recruits to gain their PCV licence along with CPC training and practical driver training fully funded. For those of you that already have your PCV licence we are happy to offer funded refresher courses.

Once you have passed all the formal training you will be paired with an experienced colleague who will act as your mentor to support you in your early days as you settle into your new career. We also provide ongoing training to help you excel in your role and ensure you maintain your Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).

Coach Hire Edinburgh are located in East Calder, West Lothian and also Loanhead, Midlothian and currently carry out Educational work ( Nursery all the way up to University ), Tours, Weddings and general Private Hire. No Service or Megabus/Citylink work and No Rail Replacement. We operate a mixed sized fleet from 19 to 74 seater executive Euro 6 coaches.

Coach Hire Edinburgh are looking for the following to join our team of drivers:

1) Full time PSV driver
2) AM school run only driver Mon to Fri only
3) Part time driver - 2 to 3 days per week

We are a small but growing family business with a good work ethic.

All drivers must have a D licence, Digi Card and CPC. (If your Digi card or CPC has lapsed we can assist in obtaining this)

Various work includes schools, general private hire and tours in our 19, 29, 50 and 70 seater coaches.

A good knowledge of the industry are preferred but not essential.

£14.00 per hour

Guaranteed 40 Hours per week - 52 weeks of the year for full time position.

Double time between the hours of 01:00am and 05:00am

28 Days Holiday
