SIGNIFICANT INCREASE IN TAXES FOR FRENCH FLIGHTS
Starting 1 March 2025, private jet passengers departing from France will be subject to a newly increased departure tax, as part of the French government’s 2025 budget. This regulation introduces higher fees based on aircraft type and flight distance, affecting all private flights from French airports.

Key Changes at a Glance
Who is Affected? All private jet departures from France - this tax applies specifically to private jet flights with commercial status operations.

How Much?
New tax rates range from €210 to €2,100 per passenger depending on aircraft type and route
Who Pays?
Aircraft operators will collect the tax and include it in your charter cost.

VAT Impact?
Domestic flights within France will also incur a 10% VAT on top of the tax.

Exemptions? Infants are exempt.

New Tax Rates - Effective 1 March 2025
Flights within Europe (including UK & Switzerland)

Turboprop aircraft: €210 per passenger
Jet aircraft: €420 per passenger
+10% VAT for domestic flights in France

Mid-range international flights (up to 5,500 km)
Turboprop aircraft: €675 per passenger
Jet aircraft: €1,015 per passenger

Long-haul international flights (beyond 5,500 km)
Turboprop aircraft: €1,025 per passenger
Jet aircraft: €2,100 per passenger
